Have a dog-gone great birthday

Need to restock my stash of birthday cards for boys/men.  Love this puppy from Dustin Pike.  He comes precolored so cards go together quickly.  Used my Spellbinders dies to cut out the image and background layer.  Added pop dots to the back.  Attached the bow to the paper clip and placed it on the upper left corner of image.  Designer paper is called All About Boys from DCWV.

Thank you card - 2nd post today

Papertake Weekly Sketch 86

I've had this clear Stampendous stamp set for many years, but I've never made a card with it as I had a problem with missing parts when I stamped the image.  Today I decided to try again, but this time I stamped the image, scanned it into my computer and fixed the missing lines with the pencil tool in my graphics program.  Love that I can use it in the future and won't have to fuss with trying to get a clean stamped image.  The papers I used were a freebie in a card magazine I bought last month.  Substituted Prima flowers and a ribbon for the stars shown on the sketch.

Beary Merry Christmas Swing Card

Swing card front view

Swing card inside view

Found this fun scalloped circle swing style cut file at the Silhouette store and decided to use it for the cards I am making for the children's charity.  The cute little bear on the front is a digi image called bearing gifts from the Digi Darla shop.  Colored with copics.  Photo corners were cut out with a punch from EK Success that has been sitting in a drawer collecting dust for over a year.  Snowflakes and card base were cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.  The saying on the inside circle is "Wishing you a Beary Merry Christmas"

Season's Greetings - 2nd post today

I have been looking for some new ideas for holiday cards to make for the children's charity.  I stopped by the Silhouette store this afternoon and found this new gingerbread girl cutting file which I thought would be perfect to use for the little kids.  I cut out the white, kraft and red layers with my Silhouette Cameo.  Attached the front layers, then added a tiny bow.  Very quick and easy to make.  And a fun card that is easy to mass produce when time is short around the holidays.

What turkey?

Another card for the children's charity.  Looks like Fluffles the cat has been up to a bit of mischief with the turkey.  Hope he will make the kids smile.  Colored him with Copic markers.  Cut out image, scallop background layer and circle layer with Spellbinders dies.  Added a few buttons and a bow.

Happy Holidays

This sweet little gingerbread girl is a digi image from Bugaboo.  I colored her in Photoshop, then used Silhouette Studio to create a print and cut file.  Used by Cameo to cut out image, saying and snowflakes.  White circle background and green scalloped circle background layers were cut out with Spellbinders dies.  Punched the scalloped border with Fiskars punch.  Added some pearls and a twine bow.  Print paper is called Aspen Frost from Basic Grey.  White cardstock is from Neenah.
