Catch The Bug Photo Challenge

I cut out this fun Stair Step card with cut file #42973 from the Silhouette store.  I embossed the white layers with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder.  Then I created the inside layer using the Silhouette Designer Edition software.  I selected the knife tool to cut out the bottom section of the card.  Then I used the insert function to create a inside layer.  Added a saying and centered it.  Turned on registration marks and printed the page and cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.  Applied Stickles Crystal under the Penguin for the ice.  The cute penguin is a digi image called "Little Penguin Winter Skate" from the Bugaboo store.  Colored the image with PSE, printed the image, and cut out both the image and blue scalloped background with Nestabilities circle and scalloped circle dies.  Attached image to cardbase with pop dots, then added a snowflake ribbon and snowflake button.

Valentine's Day

My hubby is crazy about dogs so I tend to make a lot of cards for him with that theme.  For his Valentine card this year, I used a digi called "Puppy Love Wag Tail" from Bugaboo.  Colored  the image with PSE and cut it out with a Spellbinders circle die.  Embossed pink background layer with "Heart to Heart" Sizzix Texture Plate and my Sizzix Bigkick.  Punched 2 squares and cut in half to form the corners.  Added faux stitching with white gel pen.  Scalloped frame was cut out with my Silhouette Cameo using a file from the "Valentine Backgrounds" set from Miss Kate Cuttables.  Printed saying and cut out with Spellbinders die.  Punched two hearts and added some pearls.  Attached saying with pop dots.

I'm bananas for you

I've been making a lot of Valentine's Day cards for the girls at the children's charity, so today I thought I would make some for the boys.  While looking through my stamp collection, I found this fun clear stamp set #11028MC Monkey Honey Pop from Inky Antics.  Used Memento black ink and colored with Copic markers.  Green background layer is embossed with Darice Bamboo folder.  Cut out a few bananas and scattered them on the saying and on the corner of the image.

Challenges I am entering my card in:

2 Creative Chicks Challenge 10 - Anything goes
Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Warm it up - warm colors

Warm Wishes

Trying out a new cut file I bought at the Scrappy Dew store.  The file is called Skating Snowmen 2013.  Cut all the colored pieces using Bazzill cardstock.  White cardstock is Neenah 65#.  The blue snowflake print paper is a oldie I found in my stash.  The blades on the skates were too delicate to cut with Bazzill cardstock so I colored them with a silver Sharpie pen.  Tore some white pieces for the snow piles then attached all the pieces to cardbase.  Used pop dots to attach the snowman and the word bubble.  Used a black marker to sketch in the eyes, mouth and buttons on his belly.

Challenges
Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Ice Inspiration
Silhouette Challenge #9 - Anything goes
ABC Christmas Challenge - A is for Anything Christmas
Used blue snowflake printed paper from my stash
